The purpose of our Asian Tsunami Appeal is to raise much needed ongoing financial assistance for World Visions' disaster relief efforts throughout the Asia region. Clearly such relief will be required for many weeks, if not months and likely years to come.

To mount any successful fundraising auction, two things are needed:- (a) An "auctionable" item (b) People to place bids (and preferrably more than one!). Without either of these ingredients, we could not successfully raise funds for disaster relief. This is where we need your help. 1. Firstly, we need to let as many people as possible know that we are conducting this auction fundraiser. We are doing our bit in approaching the media to try and let people know of our travel auction, but with so many huge and worthwhile fundraising events taking place throughout Australia, it is a little hard to get noticed. So we need your help. Basically, as more people are made aware of the auction, more bids will be made, and more money we will be raised. Simple, huh? Therefore, we have put together a leaflet which can be downloaded (.pdf), printed out and put up in your local community noticeboard, at work, uni, college or wherever you can to let people know about the auction. Well, within reason of course - we don't want you to do anything illegal! Can you do that for us?

2. Secondly, we want to encourage those in the industry to donate additional products and items, so that we can continue to raise much needed funds for Tsunami relief.
