Narollah Arts is
the creative and design arm of Accom.Com.Au Pty
Ltd, maintaining, designing and developing all
Accom.Com.Au Pty Ltd website and artwork
requirements.
Narollah Arts is
a family run business, based in Moorebank in the
South Western area of Sydney. The business is owned
by Matt
Halloran,
who has been involved for a number of years in the
Travel & Tourism industry, working for
companies such as Eastwest Airlines, British
Airways, Novotel, Sabre Pacific, and Abacus
Distribution Systems. For a number of years Matt
was a small business owner and manager, running a
small Travel Agency in Sydney's South, and he has
also organised, managed and promoted many concert
events since 1982. Matt understands the many needs
and constraints placed on operating and managing a
business - no matter how small or large.
He has always had
a hands on approach to his work, and for years has
been designing promotional artwork, advertising,
databases and websites for various concert events,
small business and social events. In 1995-96, Matt
designed a website for the travel agency, Holiday
Oz, which was one of the first in Australia to take
advantage of Sabre Pacific's online reservation
system, linking to literally thousands of airline,
hotel and car reservations worldwide. Sabre Pacific
even used the Holiday Oz site in their promotion of
the system to other interested Travel Agents (see
the archive of the original Holiday Oz website home
page - however, note that all links have been
disabled).
Narollah Arts
continues to move ahead with a new website, and a
range of new web design clients. The business is
the primary site designer for Accom.Com.Au Pty Ltd,
including the accom.com.au and frogandtoad.com.au
websites. Narollah Arts artwork, including
leaflets, business cards and sales documentation,
has featured in promotional material for concerts,
hotels, travel agents, and real estate agents.
Since 1987, the business has been building a stock
photo library of hundreds of landscapes, events and
scenery throughout Australia and various parts of
the world, which are easily able to be incorporated
into various artwork. promotional and website
applications.
As Web Designers,
Narollah Arts are able to source an unlimited range
of web based scripts, applications, animations,
affiliations and other services to assist clients
in building the ultimate website to suit their
needs. Many scripts are available that are easily
and inexpensively be incorporated into a website,
adding a great deal of functionality, and building
a professional online image for the business.
It is Narollah
Arts' philosophy to create sites that are
comprehensive in their informational content, and
yet simple to navigate, user friendly and visually
attractive. Matt Halloran explains, "Many
businesses fail to understand that their website is
an extension of their business. Similar to a shop
front, if it is not visually attractive, clean and
tidy, people are less likely to walk through the
door. As in any other method of promotion,
businesses must keep in mind that their your
website looks has a great deal to do with how
visitors percieve the business, and indeed, whether
they will be interested in doing business at all.
Ultimately, it's an image thing as much as
functionality."
